UNDERSTANDING MENTAL ILLNESS
This training provides an exploration of various mental illnesses, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other common mental health conditions. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of these disorders, learning how they affect an individual’s thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and overall quality of life.
In addition to symptom recognition, the training emphasizes practical strategies for intervention. They will also learn about the importance of creating supportive environments that reduce stigma and encourage open conversations about mental health.
