Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.

(Robert Frost, The Road Not Taken)

Taking the step to start or return to counseling can be frightening, even overwhelming, but being vulnerable and brave can make all the difference. My desire is to meet each client where they are and walk them along the path to healing, helping them to find their answers and understand how to engage their strengths to make the progress they desire towards healing.

I use a variety of techniques to help my clients. I am trained in EMDR and Brainspotting, along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and have had some training in Sand Tray and Play Therapy. I got my M.S. in Educational Psychology from SIU-C in 2007 and have been working professionally in school, community, and private practice settings since that time. I became an LCPC in 2021.
