Spero Family Services

I am a mental health therapist and strive to provide a safe and comfortable space for you. Our mental health affects how we think, feel, and act. I enjoy working with people of all ages to find appropriate coping skills to help improve anxiety, depression, and anger along with other mental health problems that we encounter. I have experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help promote resilience, growth, and healing.

While obtaining my bachelor’s degree I also completed an internship at the Amy Schultz Child Advocacy Center and had the opportunity to work with children and their families during a disturbed time of their life. During my Masters of Social Work program I had the opportunity to complete an internship at District 80 and enjoyed working with school aged children. During my time there, I worked with children on social emotional development, resolving peer conflict, and sustaining positive relationships.

I will soon start documenting clinical hours and working towards becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My goal as your therapist is to be an active listener, provide empathy, patience, critical thinking, respect, and compassion. My ultimate goal is for my clients to make progress while receiving therapy services.
