Supporting Spero Family Services is more than just a financial contribution. Some of our best supporters are those who volunteer their time and talents to help our mission and our clients. If you have a willingness to help but not the time to commit to being a one-on-one mentor you have come to the right spot. See the list below for a list of other volunteer opportunities.
Seasonal Activities–Volunteer for a single activity with the Spero Youth
- Spiritual Life Events (Bible Studies, Worship Services, etc.)
- Holiday Parties
- Client Birthday Parties (held twice a year)
- Game Nights with the youth
Special Events–join a committee or help at one of our annual fundraisers.
- Festival of Trees
- Annual Golf Classic
Project Services–gather a group and volunteer your time and skills to make Spero Campus beautiful!
- Landscaping
- Light Carpentry
- Painting
Skill-based Instruction- Teach a youth a skill or hobby you are interested in.
- Cooking
- Gardening
- Tutoring
- Sewing etc.
For safety purposes, volunteers must be 21 years old. Volunteers under 21 must be accompanied by an adult. All volunteers who have not completed a background check/fingerprinting, will be supervised during visits.
