CWC Program Manager

Spero Family Services

“People begin to heal the moment they feel heard” has always been my therapy philosophy.  It is my hope to provide a safe space for my clients to feel supported, overcome their mental health challenges, make self-care a priority, and learn healthy coping mechanisms that will sustain them throughout their life.

I am a therapist and Program Manager at Spero’s Counseling and Wellness Center.  I received a Master’s in Human Behavior at Capella University in 2015.  I am completing an additional Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University and my expected graduation date is June 2024.  My background includes 12 years of experience in social work and mental health, including crisis counseling, residential treatment, and working with at-risk juveniles and their families. I have been employed by Spero for six years.  I am incredibly passionate about working with children, adolescents, and members of the LGBTQ+ community who have experienced trauma.  I am trained in play therapy, sand tray therapy, Brainspotting, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Triple P Parenting.
